Founded in 1994, Hycult Biotech was built on early expertise in antibody development and the commercialization of academic research. Today, the company operates a modern laboratory supported by a highly skilled team and a strong scientific network.

In 2019, Hycult Biotechnology B.V. acquired Biocult, a Roelofarendsveen-based company with over 25 years of industry experience. Together, Hycult Biotech and Biocult combine deep expertise in innate immunity, particularly the complement system, with the development of high-quality antibodies, immunoassays, and related research solutions.

As an independent, privately owned company, their shared mission is to support academic and industry researchers with reliable standard and customized solutions, contributing to scientific progress, improved healthcare, and lasting impact in complement-related research fields.
